USE MESSAGING EFFECTIVELY

ShopLoyal features an in-app messaging system that connects you directly with your Insiders.

Messaging is an effective tool that allows Insiders to get 1-on-1 personalized attention from you, creating the opportunity to elevate their shopping experience in a variety of ways.

  • New Insiders automatically receive a personalized welcome message from you. You can set this message from within the “Profile Settings” page.
  • On the “Messages” page, click on an Insider’s name to respond to a new message or continue from a previous conversation. New, unanswered messages from your Insiders will appear in your inbox marked with a blue badge. The badge disappears once you open the message (whether you respond to it or not).
  • You can start a new message from your Insiders page. Click the “New Message” button on the Insider you want to message.
  • Your messaging status defaults to “on”. You can disable this feature temporarily by clicking the “Messaging Status” button found at the top of the page.
  • If messaging is disabled when an Insider sends you a message, they will receive an auto-reply acknowledging the message and requesting they call you instead, for immediate help.
  • When messaging is turned off, no conversations will appear. When you restore status to “on”, your previous messages will reappear, including any new messages that were sent while the feature was turned off.

Disable the messaging function when responses cannot be made within a reasonable time to manage customer expectations.
