ADD YOUR INSIDERS

Recruiting Insiders is the crucial first step to engagement. To create personalized connections with your most loyal customers, you must first invite them to download the ShopLoyal app if they haven’t already and have them become one of your Insiders by adding your shop. If they already have the ShopLoyal app installed, they’re already a part of the ShopLoyal community, so simply ask them to add you.

DON’T DELAY!
Building your Insider membership early on increases your discoverability within ShopLoyal.

Insert your UML (Unique Merchant Link) wherever you invite customers. Your UML is a link that automatically directs new users directly to your merchant page within ShopLoyal, and adds them as your Insider once they sign up.

You can find your UML by visiting the Profile Settings page of the merchant dashboard.

 

WAYS TO ADD INSIDERS:

EMAIL – We recommend sending an email to your loyal customer list, inviting them to download ShopLoyal and add your merchant profile. Refer to the example in the following section for formatting and wording suggestions.

MARKETING MATERIALS – Include the ShopLoyal logo and links to download in all of your marketing efforts including, but not limited to newsletters, websites, social media, and in-store signs. Links and images to copy and paste are found in the digital tool kit.

SIGNS – Display the in-store signs provided by our Merchant Support Team and use our handouts to walk customers through the steps to download ShopLoyal and become an Insider. Contact us at any time to receive additional quantities or to make custom requests.

TEXT MESSAGING – Send customers the UML via a text. 

SOCIAL MEDIA – Let your followers on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other social media platforms know you are a ShopLoyal merchant, and invite them to download the app and become an Insider via your UML. Banners and links to include in your messaging are found in the digital tool kit.
